So you’re walking down the street, minding your own business, when this song pops into your headphones and then KAPOW. “Hot dang this is great also why am I now dancing down the street,” you will probably say. Ok, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but it certainly got my toes a-tappin’.
It seems like there’s a genuine love of older styles and motifs floating around the indie scene at the moment. However, it’s used to create some genuinely interesting and fresher music without it carrying on about how retro and old fashioned it is. Which I do like! This tune certainly fits that description nicely, and it’s combined with some rather pleasant vocals too.
