I am genuinely disturbed that I have yet to write about one of my absolute favorite singers, Coeur De Pirate, on here. As she sings in French (and I do not speak French), I can’t say if her lyrics are on the level of Nickelback or John Lennon, but damn does she sing them wonderfully. She’s inexplicably had one of her songs used in a diaper commercial, but I suppose if they were used in an ad for poop popsicles, I’d be eating a lot of poop popsicles. It’s as if I have a thing for beautiful ladies with amazing voices! Crazy.
