So the Polyphonic Spree are still kicking around, and they still have roughly half a billion members in the band. You’d think that huge collection of people would lead to completely incomprehensible music, but that is not the case. Instead, the bulk of the group is put towards contributing some wonderful backing vocals, giving their alt. pop tunes a wonderful choral glow.
This is a cover of the Psychedelic Furs song, and it comes from an EP that also had a cover of Nirvana’s Lithium: colour me intrigued! I haven’t heard it yet, but I think I’ll go listen to it now. You, on the other hand, can enjoy this cover!
