Well, if Hugh is allowed to post about alternative rock that you really should know about, then damnit, so am I! There is something vaguely British about this song, and while some of the group’s influences do hail from there (the Rolling Stones, etc), they are 100%, home grown American. USA! USA! The term ‘slacker rock’ has mostly been attributed to this group, owning to the lead singer’s rather distinctive drawl, and this song is the perfect example of it.
