My experience of Pink Floyd amounts to, well, essentially nothing. Some music blog we are! For the sake of our credibility, I’m going to assume that Hugh is an unparalleled expert on the music of Pink Floyd.

Anyway, despite its age and its current relative lack of societal relevance (with regards to what the song was originally written about), this tune still acts as an instigator for rebellion. Also, it’s hella catchy; there’s nothing like destroying stuff to a catchy tune!
