Guys, it’s our 300th post! Though considering we started in 2006, that’s not really that impressive. Still, milestones eh?
I am a fan of the official Ringo Starr release of this song. After all, Ringo and I are kindred spirits (drummers with unappealing voices, hello). However, if my favourite Beatle comes along with a pre-release version of the song, then I’m afraid I’ll have to play favourites!
This version is fairly similar to the final version, though stripped back. It was intended as a vocal guide for Ringo, and was consequently never released. But, thanks to the power of the Internets, it’s here for your listening pleasure.
