Sitting on content for a long time seems to be a tradition on either/or. I’ve had a scant few songs from The Decemberists sitting in my playlist for years and never bothered to investigate further. Woe is me! Just as well I (eventually) did though, because I came across this track, which is possibly my favourite from them (and certainly a favourite overall).
There’s something simple and pretty about this song: you can just drift away and listen to it softly for hours. Goodness, look at me getting all sappy and romantic; hard rock tomorrow, folks!
