It’s a bit of a shame that I only found out about this song relatively recently. I could’ve passed it on to my aforementioned friend, and been all “look, look, I can recommend awesome British shoegazing/punk music too!”, to which they no doubt would’ve told me that they already knew it and follow it up with “FRIENDSHIP OVER”. Oh well, I tried!
Every now and then, a song will come along that supplants itself as your most listened song for the next few weeks. In case it wasn’t obvious, this is one of those songs for me: it has that kind of pounding beat and wild guitar that I like without it becoming a cacophonous mess.
