So I was meant to post about Serena a little while ago, but illness got in the way. I do wonder how long I’ll be able to ride the coattails of that excuse. Anyway, I am here to make amends for my tardiness.
This is amazing. The entire album, in fact, is superb: it’s full of beautifully written and delicately performed tracks that run a gamut between country-tinged ballads to gorgeous blues/shuffle numbers. It’s all graced with Serena’s wonderful voice as well. Need I go on? Nope: just listen to the embed below already!
